Ahh food heaven. Never skimp on Penang if you are big on food. Pick up a food map in your local hotel or lodging and I promise your taste buds will thank you later. Took a short road trip up north with my family a few weeks back to meet relatives up north and I did not want to leave without a last round of Penang nom. We were short on time, so we only got our Chinese hawker favourites. We stayed at Armenian Street Hotel this time round and location could not have been better. We spent our 2.5 days going out on foot visiting murals and sightseeing. There's just an unspoken calm about the quaint streets and Colonial architecture. A UNESCO heritage area without a doubt. I am already looking forward to my next visit. Sigh, till then.
