Février in 10 frames.

Another month has passed. I am still riding out the shock waves. Einstein's theory on time folding might just be proven. Allow me to proceed with rounding up February. We do not have time to lose eh?

1) Spent the 初三 roller skating and rollerblading with my lovely cousins. It was my first time on wheels and I was lucky enough to not let gravity best me. The skating rink above Subang Avenue is a simple setup, with a RM 20 entry ticket and you get to stay as long as you like. This is something not for the weak hearted and wobbly-kneed, because you'll find yourself glued to the safety bars or looking at the ceiling dazedly not knowing what hit you. Worth a shot if you are looking for something to do with company. Or if you enjoy ice skating.

2) Here what I splurged on last month. Statement pieces (totally worth the price!) from Lucaccal. Crop sleevless top from Oh Temptations. I have yet to take on the earrings. Will try them some time soon.

3) Had another small gathering with my ex-classmates from PTS. This time it was dinner at Italiannies, Empire. When you put all of us together, chemistry ensues and laughter will unavoidably erupt among our ranks. Fun night! And fun impromptu breakfast sesh the morning after!

4) On V Day, we had to send Sabrina off to Kangaroo Land. It was sad to see her go, but hey, happy for her! May you have a wonderful life experience there. You know how we send you constant lovin' *inserts appropriate emoji*

5) Yes, I actually take French. Level-ed up to Advance 1 early last month! I am so glad and thankful that I never gave up on this interest. Although I took 2 years off due to hectic schedules (major exams, sigh), I returned to the original dream.

6) As university commences only in Fall, I got a job after deciding that I had enough time lolling around at home. It is just a simple administrative position, but work environment is nothing you can trade for! Above are my everyday essentials.

7) Music has been an intrinsic part of my life, still is. When I was younger, my mother would take me to group music classes for pre-schoolers where everyone would sing la-la-las and play rhythm patterns using wooden blocks. I guess it was because of my mother's encouragement and curiosity that led me to taking up piano lessons. My first piano teacher was the one who opened up my eyes to music and I am eternally grateful for her passion and care. A few years later I had to switch piano teachers, as she was starting her family. From then on, my interests was on a steady decrease. Music, as I knew it, was reduced to black and white. Hailing from a region where standards are proven through grades, I became a monotonous individual, playing and practicing music just to get good marks. It is only recently that I learned how to appreciate all forms of music. My heart beats to every note of a melody, my foot taps to every beat of the percussion, my soul sways to each song. This connection has made music an even greater part of my life. Although not pursuing my studies in music, I wish to continue playing music for as long as I live. It has helped me grow over the years, allowing me to see sides of me I never knew I had. Long live music.

8) The QV exfoliating scrub is something I have incorporated into my morning face routine. My skin has less breakouts since I started using it. I noted that most factors were constant throughout the time, so I guess there is a high chance that credit goes towards this product!

9) Don't know if it was because of V Day's approach that triggered unwanted (and un-needed) hormonal spikes, but I went nuts scouring the internet for Rachel Gibson books. So I managed to find an entire stash of it in 4shared and I completed the Writer's Series. Not proud of it, but a girl's got to do what a girl's got to do. So... here is the link if you are interested.

10) Last but not least, the most exciting event of the month! I got into the university I was aiming for!! Will reveal all when everything is confirmed, done and dusted. Oh boy... the excitement! I am continually receiving replies from US universities/colleges ( had one little surprise from UK as well) up until today. Have to do some thinking through before clicking the "Accept" button. So right now, I am just thankful for the support my parents give and for having Gakkai with me, every step of the way.

Okay, it is 1am and I have to work tomorrow. Bonne Nuit!

Blues' blue.

So we had a photoshoot. It was a warm, cloudy day with a slight dampness in the air. We lugged clothing items around, only to stick with the first two outfits we picked; we slipped into heels and kicked them right off; we gathered our locks into messy buns while waiting for our turn with the camera; we were doing what most girls would do - oofing around and having fun, attempting to emulate tumblr worthy pictures.

But you will be getting narcissistic vibes, the un-Shakespearean kind which makes me appear to be some-what a partial Plastic, because I decided it will be totally cool to go home without the SD card.

Well, you have been warned. On with the onslaught? Slay away.

Sorry for appearing cross-eyed. It's safe to say we got caught up in all that hurr.

Topping it all off with gifs seem to multiply the cool factor of the post..... in anything actually. Alright. Credits to my belles: Carmen, Sabrina and Xin Wen. Time to hit the sack.

Sending sincere wishes to all affected by the tragic flight.

Bonne Nuit.

Staple Florals.

What. Up.

It's March already! Application decisions will be released within these few weeks. Gosh, can you just feel the tension in the air? I have received a few positive ones, and am quite happy with the outcome. What I took away from the entire process was leveled-up determination, a more decisive self and important lessons in time management.

Start early. No joke. Do not end up in the position I was in, having to write up 5 essays of various lengths in the remaining 2 weeks. I was a "sweaty" applicant.... but I man-ed up at the crucial point.

So while the rest (most) of the world's high school leavers bite on their nail tips, let us move on with the post.

On the previous Sunday, my family and I attempted to renew our passports... and we ended up having brunch at Levain Boulangerie and Patisserie, and visiting the LSE. But hey, I threw on this baby-doll-esque top by instinct with lunch in mind and headed out.

Excuse my abuse of the mirror effect and my penchant for floral prints (if you didn't notice that already).

Outfit deeds:

Sandals - Aldo

Did I mention that I love the Pomegranate scented lotion Crabtree & Evelyn carries? Ooh. La. La.
